Abstract

In a communication station device system, an interrupt permit time (intermission time) for discontinuing the communication during the communication of a reader writer device 100b is provided. When a predetermined waiting time has been elapsed after a vacant channel was detected, and when another vacant channel is detected thereafter, the reader writer device 100a, 100c starts the transmission of signals. The waiting time of the reader writer 100a having a higher priority order is shorter than the intermission time of reader writer 100b, and therefore the reader writer device 100a can interrupt to perform a communication. In contrast, the waiting time of the reader writer 100c having a lower priority order is longer than the intermission time of the reader writer 100b and therefore unable to interrupt to perform communication. By this arrangement, when reader writer devices of different systems are disposed close to each other, a missing of reading of a tag because of absence of available communication channel can be prevented from happening while an interference of wave is suppressed.
