Abstract

The coating of the parts correlated with battery, is generally either conducted , on the base material of Cu foil or Al foil etc., by the so-called stripe coating in which a plurality of stripes are coated in the transport direction of base materials, or by the intermittent coating in which the base materials are intermittently coated in the direction perpendicular to the transport direction of base materials, or by both. In this case, the coating liquid is not coated on the whole surface of the base material, as the both ends of the base material is a non-coated portion. Said non-coated portion is holded after the vicinity of coating and stretched in tension so that the juddering is effectively suppressed. This invention is characterized in that: it is controlled in such a way that both ends of the base materials successively flowing is holded after the vicinity of coating and maintained in stretched state.
