Abstract
This invention discloses a positioning device for railless transfer device aiming to simplify the structure as well as to lower cost by abridging positioning hooks and its releasing process. The positioning device for a railless transfer device consists of two segments: a segment installed at a fabricating apparatus side, such as semi-conductor fabricating apparatus, the other segment installed at a side of the railless transfer device, wherein one of the beforementioned segments consists of two block-shaped bodies, placed at the beforementioned fabricating apparatus side in a detached way, and a slot formed between opposite sides of the two block-shaped bodies, the other segment consists of a slot and a rotating roller able to respectively engaged into the slots of the beforementioned block-shaped bodies; and two arms respectively supporting the rotating rollers; and a displacing device to install one of the beforementioned arms on the side of the beforementioned railless transfer device; and a fixing device to lock the other arm on the side of the beforementioned railless transfer device, wherein the displacing device is a guide rail to support one of the beforementioned arms in a slidable manner able to be locked onto the side of the railless transfer device; and a spring to limit the other arm to confine its regular separation away from the direction of the other fixed arm.
