Abstract

An anti-glare hard coat film which comprises a hard coat layer formed on at least one side of a substrate film by curing a resin composition curable by an active energy ray containing silica particles, wherein the silica particles in the resin composition has two peaks in the range of 0.1 to 1 μm and 1.5 to 5 μm, respectively, in the particle size distribution measured by laser diffraction scattering method and has an average diameter of 4 μm or less and the content of the silica particles is 1 to 20% by weight based on the solid content of the resin composition. The present invention provides a very fine anti-glare hard coat film having excellent anti-glare property, excellent visibility and surface hardness which is advantageously used as films for protecting surfaces of various displays without deterioration in the quality of displayed fine images.
