Abstract

There is provided a multilayer coil component in which the inductance is not varied significantly even upon occurrence of a slippage in cut and variation in inductance is suppressed. Conductor patterns for coil (12a-12i) are electrically connected in series through via holes (15) for interlayer connection provided in ceramic sheets (11c-11j), respectively, so as to constitute a spiral coil (L). The conductor pattern for coil (12a) in the lowermost layer is arranged on the center line (A) of the spiral coil (L). In the plan view of a multilayer inductor (10), the same number of conductor patterns for coil extending substantially in parallel with the opposing direction (x direction) of two external electrodes are provided on the right and left of the line symmetric axis, I.e. the center line (A) of the spiral coil (L), which is substantially parallel with the opposing direction (x direction) of the external electrodes.
