Abstract

To provide a drying apparatus for wet raw materials capable of retaining the temperature of fluidized gas used also as heat source fed to a fluidized bed drying machine in constant level and favorably keeping drying degree of the wet raw material. In the apparatus for drying the wet raw material comprising a fluidized bed drying machine 9 for drying the wet raw material and gas feed piping 5 for feeding a high-temperature discharge gas from a coke oven 1 to the fluidized bed drying machine 9 as fluidized gas used also as heat source, a heat storage part 7 is provided in the gas feed piping 5.
