Abstract
A fuel cell system that can safely carry the fuel for fuel cells and can supply the fuel to the fuel cell easily by making the fuel composition a cartridge is provided. The fuel cell system 1 comprises a rectangular accommodation part 2 of box type, a fuel cell unit 3 disposed under the accommodation part 2 and a fuel cartridge 4 of rectangle laminated. An insertion entrance 5 of the shape corresponding to the fuel cartridge 4 is formed on the sidewall of the accommodation part 2. A cartridge accommodation part 6 corresponding to the fuel cartridge 4 is connected to the insertion entrance 5. A water discharge part 7 is disposed under the cartridge accommodation part 6 and the water discharge part 7 touches a fuel electrode 8 of the fuel cell unit 3. And a push-button 13 served as a push-press part is disposed on the accommodation part 2.
