An electrically controlled padlock is disclosed, includes: a shell seat, a hanging rod having two rod sections and a recovering ability, an electrical control mechanism received at one chamber of the shell seat, and a battery cover unit provided inside one battery cover hole of the shell seat. The shell seat has a mounting slot adjacent to the battery cover hole, and the battery cover unit includes a battery cover used to cover the battery cover hole, characterized in: the battery cover unit further includes a latching cover having a recovering ability, and a cover-releasing control section is provided on one of the rod sections of the hanging rod. When the hanging rod is at a locking position, the latching seat is mounted in the mounting slot of the shell seat, and when the hanging rod is at a releasing position, the cover-releasing control section can control the latching seat due to rotation of the hanging rod so the latching seat is separated form the mounting slot. When the hanging rod unit is in the locking position, it can ensure the battery cover can not be removed from the shell seat.
