Abstract

A method for synthesis of a carbon nanotubes array includes the steps of: providing a substrate with a surface deposited by a layer of first catalyst film; placing the substrate in a quartz boat; spreading a layer of second catalyst powder in the quartz boat; placing the quartz boat in a reactor with a gas valve; heating the reactor to a preconcerted temperature and entering a carbon source gas to synthesize a carbon nanotubes array on the substrate.
