Abstract
In a method to find out the deviation (62) from a rated way (18) when a body (14) is translationally guided along a real way (20), (a) a guide-beam (26, 44) spatially correlated with the rated way (18) is applied near the real way (20). (b) At the body (14) near the guide-beam a camera (28) directed at side to the guide-beam (26, 44) is applied. (c) The body (14) moves along the real way (20) and the camera (28) picks up a side-image (52) of the outline of the guide-beam (26, 44). The deviation (62) of the real way (20) from a rated way (18) is found out (d) from the image (54) of the guide-beam (26, 44) in the camera (52). In a device to find out the deviation (62) from a rated way (18) when a body (14) is translationally guided along a real way (20), the body (14) can move translationally on a guidance (12), the device has a camera (28) mounted on the body (14), where the camera (28) is directed to a guide-beam (26, 44) which is applied near the camera and the guidance (12) and is correlated in space with the rated way (18).
