Abstract
A method of eliminating residual stress in work piece is provided, mainly to provide a mechanical vibrator which can change vibration frequency, an accelerometer and an oscilloscope electrically connected to the accelerometer. The vibrator is connected to a work piece, and vibration wave is passed onto the work piece during vibration process so that the work piece is generated resonance. The accelerometer is connected to the work piece and amplitude and frequency are measured and displayed on the oscilloscope. By adjusting vibrating frequency of the mechanical vibrator and observing the oscilloscope to see if high-frequency resonance is occurred, most of residual stress in the work piece can be efficiently eliminated while the work piece is in high-frequency resonance.
