Abstract
The present invention provides a method for operating a blast furnace, which improves combustion characteristics during mixed combustion of a solid reducing agent with a gaseous reducing agent by defining an appropriate range of the amount of injection of a solid reducing agent with a gaseous reducing agent, wherein the method is practicable by using actual equipment, specifically, in the method for operating a blast furnace by injecting a solid reducing agent and a gaseous reducing agent as auxiliary reducing agents, through a blast furnace tuyere, the injection is carried out by injecting the gaseous reducing agent and the solid reducing agent with each of an injection ratio which is adjusted to 10 to 80 kg/t-p and 50 to 150 kg/t-p, respectively.
