This invention describes a mechanical input-unit (50, 150, 250) for a display-unit (20, 220) with a pressure-sensitive surface (24), where the mechanical input-unit (50, 150, 250) includes a holding-element (72, 152, 154, 252), which in an input state is fixed or fixable relative to the input-unit (50, 150, 250); and at least one input-element (52, 56, 156, 158, 256), which is optically transparent at least in a section manner and may move relative to the holding-element (72, 152, 154, 252), and where in addition in the input state by means of at least one input-element (52, 56, 156, 158, 256) pressure can be sent out to the pressure-sensitive surface (24) of the display-unit (20, 220).
