Abstract
The present invention is to provide a method for producing cellulose fiber which produces homogeneous cellulose solution even at a low temperature and further produces fiber therefrom. The producing method is to dissolve a small amount of the cellulose powder in concentrated liquid-state of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMMO) to lower the solidification temperature of NMMO, introduce the low-temperature and concentrated liquid-state NMMO having dissolved cellulose and the cellulose powder into a kneader, mix and moisten the cellulose in the kneader without a process of reducing pressure to produce a paste, and then supply the paste into an extruder to dissolve the paste in a homogeneous solution so that cellulose solution can be produced at a low temperature, and further, fibrous product with pliability and excellent strength can be obtained.
