Abstract
This invention is a spring-based multi-axis simulator. It disclosed a kind of exercise platform that can be combined into virtual reality or sport apparatus. It comprises a support bend with its one end connected to the back surface of a working platform through a universal coupling and with its other end stood on a base, two springs each connected to the different positions of the base and the working platform, and three sets of driving facilities to provide three directions of rotation by using rope pulling in cooperation with rope tension devices. By properly controlling the motor's rotation, the platform can provide motion of roll, pitch and yaw. Because the platform is actuated by the flexible springs and ropes, it can more actually simulate the sport postures influenced by human's body. If the user equips with different sport apparatuses such as bicycle, belly board, boating apparatus, skiing apparatus, etc., it can achieve the purposes of simulating above situations by the application programs or virtual reality technique and thus increase the feeling of reality and recreation.
