Abstract

The purpose of the present invention provides a transverse type liquid crystal display element with excellent after image relaxation property and a liquid crystal alignment for the said transverse type liquid crystal display element. The resolving method of the present invention is a liquid crystal alignment for transverse type liquid crystal display element, which comprises soluble polyimide. The said soluble polyimide comprises the imides structure made by cyclodehydrating the polyimide which was obtained by reacting the tetracarboxylic acid and the diamine.
