Abstract

A sintering method for heat pipe wick structure and the device that adopts that method are disclosed. The method and device provide the pipe (2) with a tapered end (22) to provide the second positioning point, the rod (3) with a tapered rod end (31) and the filling fixture (4) that can provide the first positioning point. The said rod (3) is placed into the pipe (2) and the tapered rod end (31) is inserted into the corresponding tapered end (22) of the pipe (2), which defines the second positioning point. The filling fixture (4) is combined with the non-tapered end of pipe (2). The rod (3) can be fixed by the first positioning point function provided by the filling fixture (4), and the equal-spaced gas (5) is formed between the rod (3) and the pipe (2). The filling fixture (4) can guide the wick structure material to fill the equal-spaced gap (5). It is placed in the sintering furnace to be sintered and took out to be cooled when sintering process is finished.
