Abstract
This invention is to provide a high-efficiency tray conveying system, which adequately combines and arranges a "first-in and last-out" type storage means with a "selective delivery" type storage means in a conveyance path. The invention includes a means to convey plate-like workpiece(1) that is stored in a tray (2) and to take out the plate-like workpiece(1) from the tray (2); a means to store the plate-like work (1) in the tray (2); and a plurality of storage devices (15) equipped on a conveyance path (3) for storing trays(2); a processor, which has a uniform execution interval of the processing time and is equipped with a "selective delivery" type storage device (15B) for taking out a desired tray(2) selectively from a stack of trays (2) and placing the tray on the conveyance path (3). Other processors are equipped with a "first-in and last-out" type storage device (15A), which stores the trays (2) in a stacked manner and takes the bottom tray (2) successively from the stack one by one, and places the tray on the conveyance path (3) in front of the processors.
