Abstract
A multi-mode air cleaner includes a housing, two operation rooms (first and second), and a switching unit. The housing has a chamber, a propeller mounted in the chamber for injecting the air into the chamber from outside, and a through hole in communication with the chamber and outside. The two operation rooms each have a vent hole in communication with outside. The first operation room has a first port in communication with the chamber, and a first filter mounted therein for masking the first port and filtering the air passing thereby. The second operation room has a second port in communication with the chamber, and a second filter mounted therein for masking the second port and filtering the air passing thereby. The switching unit has a masking member slidably mounted in the chamber between a first position and a second position for sealing/unsealing the first and second ports and further switching modes of filtering air.
