Abstract

A polarizing film and a method for improving optical property of polarizing film are disclosed. The polarizing film has an adjusted isomeric ratio comprising an increased ratio of syndiotatic polyvinyl alcohol. The increased ratio of syndiotatic polyvinyl alcohol can increase the absorption of iodine ions and improve dyeing effect and the optical property of polarizing film.
