Abstract
A light guide plate includes an incident surface, an emitting surface and a reflecting surface. A number of V-shaped patterns are formed on the reflecting surface. Each of the V-shaped patterns extend out of the light guide plate and have same angles. A distance between adjacent second base angles near the incident surface of the V-shaped patterns is same. And a distribution function of the V-shaped patterns is y=9.2637×10-6x2-0.0003x+0.0232, where x is a distance from the base angle near the incident surface of the V-shaped patterns to the incident surface, y is a width of V-shaped patterns and its unit is micron. A backlight module having the same light guide plate is accordingly provided.
