Abstract

A method used to fill hydrogen into zirconium alloy, which comprises the following steps: The oxide layer on the surface of zirconium alloy is removed. The zirconium alloy is placed into a closed container that can be heated and there is only hydrogen filled inside. The zirconium alloy in the closed container then is heated and the hydrogen is circulated in order to perform a hydrogen-filling process. This method can effectively and uniformly fill hydrogen into zirconium alloy, and material variation of zirconium alloy by high temperature can be avoided.
