Abstract

This invention is a manufacture processing of a high-temperature carbon composite. Rich beta-resin is added into pitch and a solvent to form a pre-preg material, which is processed with carbon fiber to form pre-preg cloth, followed by the processes of press molding, carbonized treatment, compacting treatment by fururyl alcohol, and resin curing. By one compacting treatment process, the density of the specimen can reach 1.56g/cm3 and the bending stress can reach 41,000psi. The characteristic of this invention is to use a simple process to develop a manufacturing method of low-cost, high-temperature for carbon composite material without use of expensive equipment and graphite fiber, and the number of using the compacting treatment can be decreased and this method can fabricate a component having large size, so the product can be applied to different kinds of ablation materials, such as a refractory nozzle. Because this refractory material can be applied to many kinds of ablation nozzles, the carbon composite material must be heated up to 580~1000 DEG C and processed by the compacting treatment process, so the design of this invention can both fulfill the required effect of refractory and ablation.
