Abstract

Disclosed is a method of forming an anodically oxidized aluminum film on aluminum with excellent corrosion resistance. As film thickness increases, microstructure defect in the film increases simultaneously which would decrease the corrosion resistance. Therefore, film thickness is controlled carefully during the anodizing treatment to obtain the optimum corrosion resistance.
