Abstract

An optical element, light guide plate, back light and LCD device constituted by being provided with a computer composite hologram made on the basis of an interference pattern data obtained by means of a calculating method, wherein, when respectively calculating, by using a computer, the interferences generated at each position of hologram forming plane due to a reference light and an object light reaching the position, the interference is calculated respectively with respect to the all combination of plural reference light reaching said position and plural object light reaching the same position, and these interference data are summed up, meanwhile, the interference among the reference light at said position is not taken into calculation.
