Abstract

This invention provides a set accelerating agent for spraying which contains calcium aluminate, gypsum and an alkali metal aluminate, characterized in that the calcium aluminate has a vitrification rate of 80% or more and a CaO/Al2O3 molar ratio of 1.9 to 3.0, and the alkali metal aluminate is contained in an amount of 1.5 to 10 parts relative to 100 parts of the set accelerating agent for spraying. The above set accelerating agent is excellent in the set accelerating property and the strength expressing property and can impart high durability to the resultant concrete, with the reduction of the amount of an alkali to be used.
