Abstract

Low voltage differential signal clock data recovering device and method are provided. The clock data recovering device receives external reference signals and data signals. The data signal change locus forms an eye. The clock data recovering device consists of a phase lock loop (PLL), dual edge tracking circuits and an eye center generator. The PLL is used to generate multiple phase lock loop output signals. The dual edge tracking circuits is used to receive at least a part of multiple phase lock loop output signals to produce eye's left boundary position signal and right boundary position signal. The eye center generator bases on the eye's left boundary position signal and right boundary position signal to output a signal corresponding to the eye center. According to the output signals of the eye centers, plural sampling signals with different phases are generated.
