Abstract

Warping machine (1) having a machine frame (2) and at least two guide bars (8, 9; 10, 11) carrying guide needles and being moveable in shogging direction wherein a basic position of the guide bars (8, 9; 10, 11) perpendicular to the shogging direction can be changed. The object of the invention is to change the adjustment of the basic position in a simple manner. To this end at least one guide bar (8, 9; 10, 11) is arranged at a carrier (16, 19) which is moveable in the machine frame (2) perpendicular to the shogging direction. The carrier is positionable by means of a central drive (23, 28).
