This rice transplanter-mounted agrichemical applicator is equipped with an applicator mechanism (1) for treating objects to be treated and an applicator control mechanism (2) that causes the applicator mechanism (1) to intermittently treat the objects to be treated during transplantation work by the rice transplanter. The applicator control mechanism (2) has a pivotably supported roller (25) whose periphery abuts the seedling bed (S), an operation trigger (28) disposed on the circumference of the roller (25), a switch (27) for detecting the approach of the operation trigger (28), and a controller (23) that activates the applicator mechanism (1) at the detection of the operation trigger (28) by the switch (27).
