Abstract

This invention relates to a temperature measuring and transmitting device, being provided with an antenna for receiving a radio wave, an electric power-generating circuit for self-excitation power generation by rectifying the radio wave received by the antenna, a temperature sensor of which the resistance value is varied by a temperature change, and an RF part for a radio output, in an internal IC chip of an adhesive pad. Thus, a close contact property with a body is enhanced thereby to allow an accurate measurement in a short time. This construction solves a disadvantage that the influence of an error is great when an electronic clinical thermometer is not brought into close contact with the body skin, because the electronic clinical thermometer is mainly a prediction type to shorten a temperature detecting time, and because a finally stabilized equilibrium temperature is estimated therein. This invention can realize high temperature measuring precision required for a thermometer and also shorten a measuring time.
