Abstract
In the evaporator of a refrigerator, it is possible that not all the liquid refrigerants are evaporated but a part thereof remains in the evaporator. In this case, while the defrosting heater is energized, the melting of frost varies according to which part of the evaporator the frost is formed on since the load of the part in which liquid refrigerant remains is greater than that of the part without liquid refrigerant remains therein. Therefore, the evaporator is installed in such a manner that the straight-pipe portion of the refrigerant pipe thereof is horizontal relative to the body of the refrigerator, and the horizontal of the installation site for the refrigerator is adjusted, so as to prevent the variation in melting. However, the variation keeps happening. This invention provides a refrigerator in which the evaporator 8 is installed to slightly incline, but still looked as if it were horizontal, in the refrigerator, so as to suppress the variation in melting that happens even in the same model of refrigerator so as to simplify the design of the refrigerator. That is, the side on which the liquid refrigerant will gather is right side or left side can be specified to facilitate the structure design and the control design, so that the design can be simplified.
