An interface circuit for an optical fiber transceiver is provided. The output of a signal detection pin of the optical fiber transceiver is connected to the interface circuit to obtain the DC voltage bias for a receiving pin of network physical layer (PHY). The data signals inputting to PHY are not varied while an optical fiber is not plugged into the optical fiber transceiver or the link signal is not received by the optical fiber transceiver, but the normal data signals are received by PHY while an optical fiber is plugged into the optical fiber transceiver. Therefore, the PHY do not require a signal detection pin and the cost of PHY is reduced.
