Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a zinc-coated carbon steel pipe capable of being buried underground and a structure of such a pipe. The invented method comprises: a first stage of pre-treatment process including removing the anti-rusting paint, iron rust, and oxide layer from the outer layer of a carbon steel pipe, and performing a temporary anti-rusting active zinc ammonium oxide treatment on the surface of the pipe; a second stage of zinc coating process including spraying an anti-coating agent on the inside of the carbon steel pipe, and performing a hot dipping zinc coating process; and a third stage of final processing process including removing residues from the pipe, performing a product inspection procedure. A carbon steel pipe obtained by the above method has a zinc coating layer having an excellent anti-oxidation effect. When the carbon steel pipe is buried underground for a long period of time, the external layer of the pipe will not be oxidized and the zinc coating layer will not corrode. Such a carbon steel pipe is suitable for being used over a long period of time.
