Abstract
This invention is to provide a one-touch opening and closing tank cap which is superior in the operation sense and operability, is small in an operating space, and is advantageous in a formative design and layout. In a tank cap 1, a radial move of a pair of levers 4, 4 urged outwardly radially is changed to a rotary movement of a rotor 3, and a pair of lock detents 10, 10 urged outwardly of radially are retracted radially by the rotary movement of the rotor 3. There is provided a gasket plate 13 which can move freely in an axial direction of the rotor 3, and is urged in a direction of the lock detents, and the gasket plate 13 is meshed with the lock detents 10, 10 in a retracting state, and also when the gasket plate 13 is moved to a direction of the counter-lock detent, the gasket plate 13 is structured so as to unmesh from the lock detents 10, 10. Then, the tank cap 1 is quickly readily detached only by its own pressing operation and pressing operation of the levers 4, 4.
