Buluşa göre uç uca birleştirme yöntemi en az şu etapları içerir: - yerleşim üzerine ikinci bir çözme bobini (B2) üzerinde sarılı olan ikinci bir malzemenin (3) yerleştirilmesi; - ikinci malzemenin (3) gergin bir bölümünün, birinci malzemenin (2) çözülme yolunun dışında bulunan bir uç uca birleşme bölgesine (P) kadar otomatik olarak yer değiştirmesi; - birinci malzemenin (2) gergin bir bölümünün, birinci malzemeyle (2) ikinci malzemenin (3) ilgili bölümlerini kenar kenara ve yüz yüze karşılıklı olarak getirecek şekilde uç uca birleşme bölgesine (P) kadar otomatik olarak yer değiştirmesi; - iki bölümün otomatik olarak kenar kenara getirilmesi ve böylelikle uç uca birleştirme işleminin gerçekleşmesi için iki bölümün otomatik olarak enlemesine şekilde kesim-kaynak işlemine tabi tutulması.
