Abstract

Kablosuz telekomünikasyon sisteminde kanal durumlarına geri bildirim sağlayan aparat ve yöntemler açıklanmaktadır. Kablosuz telekomünikasyon sistemi, sistem frekans bant genişliğini kapsayan frekansları kullanarak çoklu terminal cihazlarıyla iletişim kuracak şekilde düzenlenen bir baz istasyonu içermektedir, burada en az bir terminal cihaz sistem bant genişliğinden daha küçük olan ve bunun içerisinde bulunan sadece sınırlı frekans bant genişliğini kullanarak baz istasyonundan uydu yer bağı: iletimlerini alacak şekilde tasarlanan ayarlanabilir bir alıcı-verici içeren azalan kapasiteli bir terminal cihazdır. Baz istasyonu, azalan kapasiteli terminal cihazın farklı frekanslar için kanal durumlarını ölçmesi gerektiğini belirtmek için konfigürasyon sinyalini azalan kapasiteli terminal cihaza iletmektedir. Terminal cihaz, sistem frekans bant genişliği içindeki sınırlı frekans bant genişliği için kendi alıcı-vericisinin farklı frekans konumlarına ardışık olarak ayarlanmasıyla ve karşılık gelen çoklu kanal durumu ölçümlerini sağlamak için farklı frekans konumlarındaki kanal durumu ölçümlerinin yapılmasıyla cevap vermektedir. Azalan kapasiteli terminal cihaz baz istasyonundaki kanal durumu ölçümlerinden türetilen bilgilerle iletişim kuracak şekilde tasarlanmaktadır. Bilgiler farklı frekans konumları için ölçülen kanal durumlarına ait bir işareti veya karşılık gelen kanal durum ölçümlerinin önceden tanımlanan seçim kriterlerini karşıladığı bir veya daha fazla frekans konumuna ait bir işareti içerebilmektedir. Baz istasyonu ardından terminal cihazdan alınan bilgileri dikkate alacak şekilde terminal cihaz için uydu yer bağı iletimlerini programlamaktadır.
