Abstract
Buluş, iplikçikler, anulus gibi direkt kapakla ilgili yapılar yerine kapağın yukarı kısmında bulunan sol atriyuma ve ona komşu yapılara tutunarak kalbin hareketleri esnasında sabit kalma sorununu çözen ve transkateter yöntem ile takılan mitral kapak (10) ile ilgilidir. Transkateter yöntem ile tutturulan mitral kapak (10), kalpte mitral kapak hastalığı olan insanların açık kalp ameliyatı ile tedavi edilmelerinde yüksek riskli bulunduğu durumlarda hastanın tedavi edilmesini sağlamaktadır.
