In particular, the present invention includes (1) a base resin comprising a reaction product of a polysulfide compound and an epoxy compound and a reaction product of an amine compound and an epoxy compound; (2) a curing agent resin containing the reaction product of a modified polyol compound and a blocked polyisocyanate compound, an aliphatic or aromatic amine compound, and formalin, in which the modified polyol compound is obtained by the product of the Mannich-like reaction of a phenol compound; (3) an aromatic sulfonic acid; and (4) a cation electric coating paint resin composition comprising a rheology controller having a urethane functional group, and a cation electric coating paint containing the same. The resin composition of the present invention, the resin composition of the present invention has superior water dispersion stability, filling power and antibacterial properties, superior flexibility, anti-corrosion properties and coating properties (or film formation) of the film paint, and at the edge of the paint film. It is particularly suitable as a primer for vehicle and industrial use as it exhibits enhanced anti-corrosion properties. The present invention also relates to a cation electric coating paint containing a resin composition.
