Abstract

İşbirliğiyle çalışan bir görselleştirme sistemi, örneğin, bir mühendislik tasarımının değerlendirilmesi amacı doğrultusunda, kinematik ve bilgısayar-desteklı tasarım (CAD) ile birlikte, hareket tutma ve sanal gerçekliği bütünleştirmektedir. Bir sanal gerçeklik sımulatorü, bilgisayar-desteklı tasarım (CAD) verilerine karşılık olarak, tam-ölçekli, üç-boyutlu bir sanal gerçeklik sımulasyonu yaratmaktadır Hareket tutma verileri, sanal gerçeklik simülasyonu ile simültane şekilde etkileşen kullanıcılardan elde edilmektedir Sanal gerçeklik sımulatorü, kullanıcılardan gelen hareket tutma verilerine karşılık olarak gerçek zaman içinde avatarları anime etmektedir Bir ya da daha çok avatarın ve aynı zamanda nesnelerin etkileşimini kapsayan sanal gerçeklik simülasyonu bir ya da daha çok kafaya monte edilen gösterim birimi kullanılarak ortak, kuşatımlı bir ortam içinde üç-boyutlu bir görüntü şeklinde gösterime getirilmekte, böylece, kullanıcılar CAD tasarımını değerlendirebilmekte ve önceden belirlenen bir kullanıcı boyutları aralığı ile, CAD tasarımına göre yapılmış bir ürün ile bağlantılı işlerin onaylanması gerçekleştirilebilmektedır.
