Bu bulus, bir imidazolinon herbisite karsi direnci arttirilmis mercimek bitkileri ile ilgilidir.Burada tarif edilen bu tür bir bitki RH44 mercimek çesididir. Bu bulus ayrica bu mercimek bitkileri tarafindan üretilmis tohumlari ve bu mercimek bitkilerinin ekili oldugu alanlarin çevresinde yabani ot gelisimini kontrol etmeyi saglayan yöntemleri de kapsar.
