Abstract

Formulated polyol mixture of the present invention: a polyol derived from butylene oxide; and, for example, a hydrocarbon pore builder such as pentane and cyclopentane. The use of butylene oxide polyols of the present invention allows the addition of a native amount of hydrocarbon pore builder for low density foam without using high concentrations of water in the polyurethane foam formulation.
