Abstract

This invention is about refrigerators that have an extendable/retractable and/or foldable wire, plastic or glass shelf system. Wire shelves are supposed to be extended/retracted longitudinally and foldable; the plastic/glass shelves are supposed to be longitudinally extendable and retractable. These are called as wire magic shelves and plastic/glass magic shelves. The shelves produced in this scope are called as magic shelves independently from their materials because of their ability of being extended/retracted and folded. The shelves in the freezer and/or cooler part of the refrigerator prevents sometimes the inner volume of the refrigerator from being used efficiently; when the height between the shelves are not sufficient it becomes impossible to place taller objects on the shelves. The users mostly prefer to remove one of the shelves to eliminate this problem; but if the tall object doesn't fill the shelf completely, this unnecessarily decreases useful space on the shelf. Furthermore, removing the unused shelf out of the refrigerator. (CONTINUED)
