Bulus, akrilonitril üretimi ve uygulanmasi sürecinde olusabilecek tikayicilarin, artik, zift ve atiklarin, polimerik katranlarin ve diger yüksek oranda oksidize olmus karbonlu katranlarin engelleme yöntemini içermektedir. Yöntem, akrilonitril yöntem ekipmaninda deepolanmis akrilonitril süreç içerisindeki bir ortamda sabit olan ve akrilonitril üretiminde kullanilan ekipmana karsi nötr olan etkili miktardaki bir tikayici önleyiciyi, sivi ve gaz fazlara eklemeyi kapsar.
