Abstract
The present invention relates to robotic local equipment for enhanced surveillance or daily therapeutic monitoring of one or more people. It consists of a robotic system with external means of travel, communication and interaction enabling the deployment of telepresence, tele-assistance and telemedicine applications at home or in a short or long stay accommodation structure. The robotic system is composed of several subsets. The subset consisting of elements (1), (2) and (3) allows the acquisition and the restitution of audiovisual streams. The subset (5) consists of a wheeled robotic platform (6) and (7) to ensure the movements of the robot, and is equipped with sensors dedicated to the perception of the surrounding environment, and a calculator for control the sensors and actuators. The subset including elements (8) and (9) allows the acquisition and display of data relating to the health of a person. The subset (4) contains a second computer dedicated to the processing and exchange of information transmitted by or to the other subsets. It is also equipped with one or more external communication systems for dialogue with remote systems, a dialogue involving information such as command signals or alerts, images, sounds and cartographic, physiological or behavioral data.
