This increases the strength of the glass rim. The inward rolling of the rim also prevents the rim from being sharp, thus preventing cuts to the consumer's mouth. Furthermore, when pouring and stopping, water will not overflow the rim; only a few droplets will remain on the rim. This represents an improvement over previous designs.

Claims

1. A rimmed glass (ream roll) consists of a cylindrical glass with a side wall (1) that tapers from the mouth (4) to the bottom (2). At the neck of the glass, there is a line dividing it into two layers. The first layer on top is flat and straight (3), and the second layer is flatter than the first, slightly curved at an angle (6). The top of the glass has a distinctive feature: the mouth of the glass is rolled inward towards the rim, or in a ream roll, extending outwards to the sides, circling around the mouth of the glass in a circle (5).
