This design increases the glass's strength and prevents the rim from becoming sharp, thus avoiding cuts to the consumer's mouth. Furthermore, when pouring and stopping, water will not overflow the rim; only droplets will remain clinging to the edge. This represents an improvement over previous designs.

Claims

1. The U-shaped rim of a glass consists of a cylindrical glass with side walls (1) tapering from the mouth of the glass to the bottom of the glass (2). At the neck of the glass, there is a line dividing it into two layers. The first layer on top is flat and straight (3), and the second layer is flatter than the first, slightly curved at an angle (6). The top of the glass is the mouth of the glass in the shape of a U (4). Its characteristic feature is that the mouth of the glass is in the shape of a U (U) extending out to the sides, circling around the mouth of the glass in a circle (5).
