Abstract

DC60 (13/02/55) The infant liquid feeding device consists of a liquid food container that fits into a bowl and is secured to the container lid. The center of the container lid has a central opening for the feeding nozzle to pass through and fit onto the lid. The feeding nozzle has a body that tapers upwards from the bottom to the top. Along the central axis of the body is a drainage opening for liquid food, with the opening tapering in size according to the width of the body. The lower edge of the body has a base that protrudes in a circle around the edge, which is used to secure it to the inside of the upper edge of the container lid. At the top of the body is a spoon-shaped feeding device for feeding food into the infant's mouth. The liquid food drainage opening is covered by a shut-off cap. The length of the central body features a liquid food outlet, tapering in size along the length of the central body. At the lower edge of the central body is a circular, protruding base that serves as a hook to secure it to the inside of the upper edge of the container lid. At the top of the central body is a spoon-like feeding device for inserting food into the infant's mouth. The liquid food outlet is covered by a closure.

Claims (1)

1. An infant feeding device consisting of a liquid food container (1) for holding pre-prepared liquid food for feeding to the infant; the top of the liquid food container (1) is the neck of container (2), which has a smaller diameter than the neck of container (1), and the outer surface of the neck of container (2) is formed into an external thread (3) for screwing onto the internal threaded surface of the lid of container (4); the lid of container (4) has an internal diameter that matches the diameter of the neck of container (2), and the inside of the lid of container (4) is formed into an internal thread (5) for screwing onto the external thread (3) of the neck of container (2); the middle of the lid of container (4) has a central opening (6) for the feeding device (7) to pass through and fit onto the lid of container (4); and a cover (14) that fits over the top edge of the lid of container (4), which is characterized by a feeding device (7) with a central body (8) that tapers from bottom to top. The central axis along the length of the middle body (8) is a liquid food outlet (9) which tapers upwards along the size of the middle body (8). The lower edge of the middle body (8) has a base plate (10) that extends in a circle around the lower edge of the middle body (8) to be used as a hook to attach to the inside of the upper edge of the container lid (4). At the top of the middle body (8) is the feeding spoon (11) for feeding the baby into the mouth, and the closing part (12) is a long rod sized to fit the outlet of the liquid food outlet (9) so that it can be inserted and closed at the outlet of the liquid food outlet (9). At the top of the closing part (12) is a flat plate (13) that will close off the feeding spoon (11) of the feeding part (7).
