Abstract

DC60 (13/02/55) The infant drinking container consists of a body that is screwed onto a lid, and a spout cover. The center of the spout cover has a central opening for the spout to be installed. The removable spout is securely attached to the inner top edge of the spout cover. The bottom edge of the spout has a circular base that extends around the edge to secure it tightly to the inside of the top edge of the spout cover. The surface of the spout has ventilation holes. On one side of the spout is a protruding suction head. The suction head has an internal chamber with a cross-shaped axis in the middle, with a vertical center channel that releases the drink in sync with the infant's sucking. A cover is then fitted over the top edge of the spout cover. The infant drinking container consists of a body that is screwed onto a lid and a spout cover. The center of the sippy cup cover has a central opening for the sippy cup to be installed. The sippy cup is removable and securely attached to the inner top edge of the cover. The lower edge of the sippy cup has a circular base that protrudes around the edge to serve as a hook for a snug fit against the inner top edge of the cover. The surface of the sippy cup has ventilation holes. On one side of the sippy cup is a protruding suction head. The suction head has an internal chamber with a cross-shaped axis in the center, with a vertical channel that releases liquid in sync with the baby's sucking. A cover is then fitted over the top edge of the sippy cup cover.

Claims (2)

1. A beverage container for infants, consisting of a body (1) which is a container of the size and shape specified for use in holding the beverage for drinking, at the top of the body (1) is the neck (3) which has a diameter smaller than the size of the body (1), and at the outer surface of the neck (3) is formed into an external thread (4) for screwing onto the internal threaded surface of the sippy cap (5). The sippy cap (5) has an internal diameter that corresponds to the diameter of the neck (3) so that it can be properly screwed onto the neck (3), and at the inside of the sippy cap (5) is formed into an internal thread (6) for screwing onto the external thread (4) of the neck (3), and at the center of the sippy cap (5) is a central opening (7) for the sippy (8) to pass through and be screwed onto the sippy cap (5). The cover (9) is fitted over the top edge of the nipple cover (5). The nipple (8) is removable and securely attached to the top inner edge of the nipple cover (5). The nipple (8) is a single piece of silicone rubber molded into the shape of a breast. The bottom edge of the nipple (8) is a base (10) that protrudes in a circle around the top edge of the nipple cover (5). A distinctive feature is that the top surface of the nipple (8) has a vent (11). On one side of the nipple (8) is a protruding suction head (12). The suction head (12) has an internal chamber (13) that is recessed into the inner part of the suction head (12). Inside the internal chamber (13) of the suction head (12) is a cross-shaped axis (14) with a vertical center channel (15) that releases liquid in rhythm with the baby's sucking. The cross-shaped axis (14) of the suction head (12) helps to prevent the two sides of the inner chamber (13) of the suction head (12) from sticking together while the baby is sucking. 2. Beverage containers for infants, according to claim 1, on the outer surface of the body of the container (1) there shall be a number of horizontal ridges (2) that are used to help to make it more comfortable to hold in the hand.
