Abstract

In the case of a projectile (1) consisting of a casing (3) and a propellant chamber (6) placed on the lower (2) of the projectile (1), the lower (17) of the chamber contains an ignition port (15) centered on the port (5) in the lower casing (4), and the propellant (17) is ignited by a primer (9) placed in the lower casing (6) which is positioned to be struck from the outside.

Claims (10)

1. A projectile consisting of a casing (3) and a port (5) in the lower part (4) of the casing containing the primer (9) is struck externally, which ignites the propellant (7) contained in the casing. Gas flowing through at least one of the gas outlets (8, 8') of the propellant chamber (6) into the casing (3) accelerates the projectile (1). It is notable that the propellant chamber (6) is attached to the projectile (1), and on the side facing the lower part (4) of the casing is the lower part (17) of the chamber which causes the propellant to strike, and there is an ignition port (15) centered on the port (5) in the lower part of the casing (4). 2. The projectile under claim 1, in which the fuel-propeller chamber (6) contains a transverse gas outlet (8), which is of the special nature that the lower part (17) of the chamber surrounding the ignition port (15) is in contact with the lower part (4) of the casing surrounding the port (5). 3. The bullet under claim 2 has a special characteristic in that the ignition port (15) is smaller than the port (5) in the lower casing (4). 4. The projectile under claim 2 or 3 has a special characteristic in that the transverse gas outlet (8) is arranged near the lower (17) portion of the chamber in the surrounding wall of the propellant chamber (6). 5. The projectile under claim 2 or 3 is of a special nature in which the gas outlet ring (8) is arranged in the lower part (17) on the outside of the area of contact surrounding the ignition port (15), and the area (16) of the lower casing (4) surrounding port (5) is made to extend into the propellant chamber (6). 6. The bullet under claim 5 has a special characteristic in that the gas outlet (8) protrudes at an angle. 7. The bullet under claim 1 is unique in that the propellant chamber (6) is positioned away from the lower casing (4), and the ignition port (15) in the lower (17) section of the chamber, centered with the port (5) in the lower casing (4), also serves as an exit route for gas (8). 8. The bullet under claim 7 has a special characteristic in that the gas exit channel (B') is larger than the channel (5) in the lower casing (4). 9. Any of the bullets under claims 1 through 8 have the special characteristic that the propellant (6) is threaded into the threaded connection (13) in the lower part (2). 10. Any of the bullets under claims 1 through 9 have the special characteristic that the bullet (1) consists of a groove around (11) which is used to press into (12) the edge of the casing (3) (10 claims, 2 pages, 3 figures).
