Abstract

DC60 (15/12/46) The aim is to enlarge the cargo space of the storage box located under the seat in a floor-mounted vehicle where the rear suspension damper is centrally located in the chassis. Floor-mounted vehicle 10 is a scooter motorcycle where the engine 100 is mounted under the floor and the rear suspension damper 61 is centrally located in the chassis. The storage box 59, with its length roughly equal to the length of the seat 58, is placed under the seat, and the rear suspension damper is positioned transversely under the storage box. The storage box is provided with a cover for inspecting the rear suspension damper. At the rear, the engine is suspended from a rhombus-like frame 20. The rear suspension damper is positioned along the rear end. The upper frame, extending backward and downward from the steering stem tube, is intended to enlarge the cargo space of the box located beneath the seat in floor-mounted vehicles where the rear suspension damper is centrally located in the chassis. Claims (3)

1. The rear suspension mounting structure of a floor-mounted vehicle where the engine is mounted beneath the floor and the rear suspension is centrally located in the body, where: the floor-mounted vehicle is provided with a cargo box of approximately the same length as the length of the seat beneath the seat; and the rear suspension is positioned transversely beneath the cargo box. 2. The rear suspension mounting structure of a vehicle with a floor, as per claim 1, where: the enclosure is provided with an inspection cover for the rear suspension damper at the rear wheel base. 3. Rear suspension mounting structure of the vehicle under floor as per Requisition 1, where: the engine is suspended by a rhombus-like structure made up of an upper frame extending backward and downward from the steering arm housing and a lower frame extending downward from the steering arm housing; and the rear suspension damper for the rear wheels is arranged along the rear side of the upper frame.
